This domain is no longer being lent to the AKCA. The arraignment that I had with the AKCA was for the AKCA to pay webhosting fees (email server, email accounts, webserver, FTP access, etc.). During my time as AKCA webmaster, I DONATED my website design services. In six years that amounted to well over $15,000 worth of FREE labor.
The AKCA leadership has no concept of the issue at hand. Their claim is that I am not owed the monies invoiced because I am no longer webmaster. The facts are that there are three basic things inherent to having a website: domain name (or address or URL), webhosting (the computer upon which the website is stored), and lastly someone to create the content, or website as it is called.
The AKCA owes me for ONLY the first two of above. The third, for which I previously donated my time as stated, was supposed to be handled by Dave Ammons' brother. The AKCA has refused to pay my invoices because they are ignorant of these facts.
The AKCA leadership expects that I should allow the AKCA to FOR FREE have unlimited use of the domain names, unlimited and FREE webhosting (for which I pay for), and NO RESPONSIBILITY for when the AKCA is unwilling to retrieve its email. Not retrieving its email has caused me a financial loss for exceeding available storage limits. The AKCA had six email addresses, EACH of which had over FOUR THOUSAND emails stored in them.
ALL of those emails were parsed, sorted, AND ALL emails of even outdated or negligible importance to the AKCA were then forwarded on to EACH of Dave Ammons, Rich Hale, and D'Alton Holder. Rich Hale's claim of stolen email is frivolous and a flat lie. EVERY email was personally forwarded by myself as stated.
Not only has this occurred once, but this is the SECOND occurrence. The first occurrence happened in the last months of 2006. I did not charge the AKCA for this event but did warn the AKCA that should it re-occur that there WOULD be a charge. That notice was given to Dave Ammons, Rich Hale, and D'Alton Holder.
This matter will be brought to the attention of the Attorney General for AZ along with all other government bodies that regulate non-profits.
